Coronavirus Helpline - Dial 111 and select Option 1

Stay indoors and avoid contact with other people immediately if you’ve travelled to the UK from:

  • Hubei province in China in the last 14 days, even if you do not have symptoms
  • Iran, lockdown areas in northern Italy or special care zones in South Korea since 19 February, even if you do not have symptoms
  • other parts of mainland China or South Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan or Thailand in the last 14 days and have a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath (even if your symptoms are mild)
  • other parts of northern Italy (anywhere north of Pisa, Florence and Rimini), Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar or Vietnam since 19 February and have a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath (even if your symptoms are mild)

Patient Access.Com

accessWe now offer patients the use of a secure web site on the Internet to:

  • Request repeat prescriptions
  • Notify us about change of address, telephone number, or e-mail
  • Send us a secure message
  • There is also a facility to pre-register with the Practice which may be particularly useful to students.

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR PATIENT ACCESS

Call to the Surgery and request to sign up for Patient Access on line.  You will then be given your unique access codes for this service.

REPEAT PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS

Click on Order Repeat Prescriptions which will take you to the Patient Access link, then on the top right hand side of screen click register online, then select click here if living in Scotland or Northern Ireland and it will bring up the right page to access your details.

SECURE MESSAGING
The Patient Access messaging system provides an encrypted secure method of communicating electronically with us. Click on Send a message to your surgery. Complete the subject line, and enter your message in the message field. Your message is limited to around 450 characters. The Patient Access home page tells you whether you have messages. You can then click to view them Important notes: a copy of your message and our reply will also be attached automatically to your medical record. We aim to respond to your secure message within 2 to 3 working days.
