Community Nurses

The district nurses see patients at the clinics or in their homes. They carry out dressings and wound care. They provide nursing care and support especially for the postoperative patient, the chronically sick, the house-bound and the terminally ill. They carry out various tests and procedures at the request of GP or hospital doctor. They advise and supply on incontinence problems and advise on how to get other help. Health Visitors

The health visitors can also be contacted at the above addresses and telephone numbers. They are available to help with health matters relating mainly to the under fives e.g. feeding, growth and development, hearing and eyesight problems. They also help with advice on health matters with the elderly.
