Online Prescriptions

We have now introduced a new Practice Policy that controlled drug prescriptions must be collected at the pharmacy that the patient uses.

Please note prescriptions can only be ordered five days prior to due date.  If you require the prescription earlier than five days please speak to reception. 

Patient Access is a web based system that allows:

To use the service you have to be registered with Surgery and you will need the following:

• Our Practice ID number
• your Personal Identification Number (PIN)
• your Password
• your NHS number

Please come to the Surgery in person and speak to the Receptionists. You will be given a Registration Letter with your unique registration details that you should keep safe.

We also provide a 24 hour 7 days a week repeat prescription option on our telephone line by selecting option 2. Please allow 48 hours for all repeat prescriptions to be processed.

Please allow 5 working days for hospital discharge/outpatient letters that have medication on them to be processed.

Due to the high volume of calls being received daily, the receptionists will be unable to take ANY repeat prescription requests over the telephone. Please use the repeat prescription answering machine which is accessible 24 hours a day or tick the items required on the slips provided and drop into the letter box in either surgery.

Please allow at least 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.
